Cat on a cool oak floor

The floor is finished. Gray cat approves. It turned out well. Alan and Lee did an excellent job. And it only took about three days. It's lots different than the old oak floor. It has micro grooves that make micro shadows that give the floor a bit of texture. The grays in the wood highlight the grays in the woodwork. The reds highlight the pink in the wallpaper.

Next big project is painting the ceiling. Yes, we know we should have done it first. But this way we get to use those clever drop cloths.

Everyone should come to visit now and see the new floor.

Very cool indeedee. Floor and cat. If you're lucky, the floor will easily shed any little dried paint spots that may get loose from you. When we painted our main floor, we discovered that they would pop right off. Of course, that was off laminate. Not a cool oak floor. This is a great looking floor. Congratulate Lee and Alan on a well-done job.

Do you feel taller since you are raised up a little? I forgot to ask about the transitions. It looks wonderful. I am a bit embarrassed that I have not seen it in person. After we get back from galavanting around we will visit.
