At home vacation

Sometimes the most relaxing vacation is spent at home, we know. The past week has been that vacation. We did spend a night in Gardiner, Mont., in the middle of a two-day excursion into Yellowstone Park for the first time this season. And we have spend a couple of days in Driggs with family. (Happy Birthday, Emory)A highlight of the week was attending a dance show at Idaho State with McKinzie performing some excellent dancing. Suzanna, Sally, McKinzie and I got a few minutes during dinner afterward to share some laughs. A great vacation.

Spring in St. Anthony

From snow to wind to sleet to sunshine, the Easter weekend entertained us with typical spring weather and the random flocks and assortments of birds, too. The blizzard closed Highway 33 temporarily, changing family plans a bit for Easter. But EVERYTHING worked out well.
